This Youtube video on connectivism by user jtarney uses Powtoon video software seeks to elucidate the theory of Connectivism in brief. Presumably the target is teachers or students in education. As it is on the Youtube platform, it can be easily shared via social media, email or site embeds. Information is chunked into colorful, animated slides with text, images, animated graphics, and voice over - making it all interesting. According to Cognitive Load Theory, however, the material could do with some improvement.

This next video on memory is a lot better, and it's no surprise since it has much higher production value. Crash Course videos are know for being highly engaging and entertaining. They use concrete, illustrative examples, are very well-structured, and make use of narratives (stories) to elucidate important points. There is little text that conflicts with voice-over, and visual information supports the narration. The entertainment value of the video can not be understated - interesting content is engaging, and when learners are engaged, they may more attention.
