I chose the free Voice Recorder to create a 3 minute podcast demonstrating my understanding of the Dick and Carey model. I avoided the software from APowersoft because I am a MAC user and the URL put me off (it is not clear and clean-looking). I already had plenty of experience with Audacity, so I elected to try something new.
I found this Online Voice Recorder software to be limiting. Unlike Vocaroo, I could not upload a recording, save my file in multiple formats, link to an automatically (but temporarily) saved online version of my recording, nor receive embed code for the recording. Luckily, Weebly made it easily to put the file into this page regardless (but of course I had to upload it rather than embed it - not before adding some background music by importing my downloaded Voice Recorder file into Garage Band for MAC. I decided to "manufacture" a mock interview for this recording, modulating my voice so that I could play both roles.)
